Rawly Eastwick shut Houston down as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Houston
Astros by a score of 5 to 3.
Cincinnati had 4 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 3rd inning when
they had 3 base hits. That was all Fredie Norman(4-2) needed. Norman was
helped out by Eastwick who pitched a perfect ninth and recorded his 6th save.
J.R. Richard(9-2) ended up with the loss. Although losing the contest, he
whiffed 11 batters in 8 innings. 'I had a little blister on my index finger
before the game, but I thought it was nothing.' Norman said. 'I was lucky I
got a win because I couldn't put the ball where I wanted it.'
