In a good matchup it was the Montreal Expos 9, the Cincinnati Reds 7 at
Riverfront Stadium.
Mike Jorgensen had a good evening at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning
and smacked a three-run homer (his 4th of the season) in the 5th inning.
Montreal totaled 14 hits on the night.
Dennis Blair(1-4) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 runs for the victory. Dan
Warthen got the save, his 1st. Gary Nolan(4-4) was the loser. He was
knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 4 innings.
