Biff Pocoroba cracked a homer and had 4 RBI and Mike Beard went 5 strong
innings as the Atlanta Braves outscored the Cincinnati Reds 14 to 10.
The Atlanta fans enjoyed the offense provided by Pocoroba. He popped a
two-run clout over the fence (his 1st of the season) in the 5th inning and
lashed a single scoring two baserunners in the 8th inning. For the game
Atlanta out-hit Cincinnati 18 to 13.
Ray Sadecki(3-2) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Pedro Borbon(3-6)
was given the loss in relief.
