Cesar Geronimo blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds beat the
struggling Houston Astros by a score of 6 to 3.
It was a good day for Cincinnati thanks to Geronimo. He tripled in the 6th
inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 1st of the season) in the 8th
inning. Both teams finished the game with 10 hits.
The win was credited to Pedro Borbon(1-2) who went 3 innings allowing no runs.
Larry Dierker(2-2) absorbed the loss. The Cincinnati ballclub's record now
stands at 7-6. Houston has a record of 5-7 after the loss.
