Tony Perez went yard and had 2 RBI as the sizzling Cincinnati Reds defeated
the Houston Astros in 10 innings by a score of 6 to 5 at The Astrodome.
The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Finally, Cincinnati
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Perez cracked a solo homerun (his
2nd of the season). Cincinnati finished with 10 hits in the victory.
Will McEnaney(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. Wayne Granger(0-2) was the losing pitcher in relief.
Cincinnati added another win to their mounting winning streak.
